Motorcycle Parts Counterperson

Join Tri-Valley Moto, a brand new motorcycle dealer founded by the highly successful team behind California BMW Triumph in Mountain View. We are looking for the right people for full time sales and customer service positions in the Parts Department. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for motorcycles with a professional selling and customer service career as a Parts Counterperson. We expect to build on our reputation as a professional, courteous and friendly source for premium line motorcycle parts, accessories and apparel at this new location in Livermore. We will feature the BMW, Triumph and KTM product lines to cover the full range of motorcycling across the road and in the dirt. You will be responsible for ensuring that our patrons fully enjoy their motorcycle shopping experience with us. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: meeting, greeting and engaging our guests; selling and stocking motorcycle parts, accessories and apparel; merchandising of showroom displays; acting as a knowledgeable professional and advocate for the lines of products we carry; responding to email requests and communicating with customers about their special order parts; maintaining the parts inventory; being punctual, dependable, and dedicated to doing the job right the first time; and maintaining a clean, organized, professional and safe work environment.

Requirements: This position requires previous retail experience in a motorcycle dealership parts department. The winning candidate must be highly motivated, organized, detail oriented, computer literate, friendly and confident in their sales abilities. You must possess excellent phone skills and demonstrate an ability to "connect" with motorcyclists of all ages. Direct experience with KTM, BMW or Triumph parts is a BIG plus!

Parts Dept. / Shipping and Receiving

This person is responsible for receiving of parts orders, shipping of all outgoing packages and fulfilling parts to service repair order requests. This is a full time position and requires attention to detail and an ability to prioritize requests and complete them in a timely manner. This position reports directly to the Parts manager. This person is responsible for writing, dispatching, managing and delivering all service work requests from a customer. Great listening skills and attention to detail are a must. You must be able to “multi-task” and follow detailed procedures. Service writing and/or customer relations experience are a plus.
